Sept. 25, 2008…Nashville, TN… Christmas is just around the corner and the most decorated Christian female artist of all time, Sandi Patty will help spread Christmas cheer with an intimate Christmas tour, kicking off in Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 28th and running through December 7th (all tour dates listed below).
The Gospel music legend will be singing holiday classics from her 2005 critically acclaimed Christmas album Yuletide Joy, which includes famous carols “Oh Holy Night,” “Star of Bethlehem” and “Angels We Have Heard on High.” Patty will be performing the Yuletide celebration in grand fashion accompanied by a local symphony in select cities on the tour.
“The celebration of Christmas is the foundation on my faith,” says the singer. “Christmas is a celebration of family, life and love and the birth of Jesus. His birth meant freedom for the rest of us.”
In addition to the tour, to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas, Patty will be hosting the Baltimore Symphony Holiday Spectacular for 12 days starting on Dec. 10 and carrying on until Dec. 23. The event will take place at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, MD. This will be the singer’s second time to host the event as she previously participated in 2006.
